REFUND

I placed 2 orders on 10th February 2021 and they were both delivered. I paid with a £50 gift card and the rest was with my card, it totalled £106.92.One order was‬ £53.37 and the other was‬ £53.55.The only reason I ordered so much was to use the gift card up because I could only use 50% of it, which I think is disgusting. So then the order came, I tried the clothes on and returned all of them apart from 2 tops, 1 from each order. The only refund I have to date is £16.78 on 24th February. You can't call anyone, you email through the website and it comes back delivery failed. I sent a couple of messages through Facebook, I did get 2 replies now they are being ignored. All I want is my money back, its disgusting to take someone's money that you are not entitled to.

Would give 0 starts

Would give 0 starts. I’m disabled and was delivered a faulty bike. I was told I had to take it back to store, even though it was ordered online. 2 months later I still have received no reply. £560 for a faulty bike. Disgraceful service. Discriminate against the disabled for sure. They told me to deliver it back to a store (closest being 30 miles away from me).

Avoid unless you're happy to wait a long time

Ordered: 14th JanOrder processed: 10th FebShipped: 13th FebArrived: 16th FebOrder status on the website doesn't get updated, so I had no option but chase Customer Service every so often, and it takes 2-3 days for a reply. The reply will just tell you to wait longer because they're behind on orders.I don't think they're coping well with orders during COVID times.

I sent 2 parcels back to Evans on the…

I sent 2 parcels back to Evans on the 26th November 2020. I was refunded one of the parcels which had 4 items in it which came to the amount of £45 although I was refunded 1 item for £15 & the following 3 items were refunded later for the amount of £30. The other parcel which had 2 items in it to the value of £30 was sent back at the exact same time at the same shop but I still have not received a refund 35 days later after numerous correspondence with Evans telling me that a refund can take 14 - 28 days and it is now 35 days where is my money. Not impressed at all, I am now in the process of taking it further

For what we are about to receive ....

This company have now gone into administration, not unexpected given how badly they have operated for the last 10 years. Closing stores despite customer protests - we like to try on clothes, not order online, wait for delivery, then have to return stuff. Selling cheaply manufactured products at high end prices - all that polyester?? Seriously?? Using tall, slim models when the sizes range up to a 32. Poor sizing - it feels like they take a size 14 then size it up rather than consider the actual shape of a larger person. And finally, their idea of what a larger person would actually like to wear - whoever designs their stuff is clearly not plus-sized. Their current customer service is dreadful, though maybe that's due to the staff not knowing what their future holds and who could be cheerful in those circumstances. Orders are not being delivered and you have to fight to get a refund. I seriously hope the company that has bought Evans takes a good hard look at where the management have gone so wrong and maybe actually listen to the customers. I'd be happy to volunteer!

Zero stars please .....

Do not use them! Ever! I used a cycle to work voucher in July at the Evans Wimbledon store. I accepted there would be a delay of up to October to get the specific bike and kit I wanted because of Covid. I got no updates from the store and despite phone calls to the store and emails to Head Office it was only at the end of November I was told my order was not transferred to a new POS system! Somebody in that store messed up and despite calls and emails did nothing about it. I contacted Cyclescheme and asked if the voucher could be reissued as I had already paid £500 from my salary from a £1200 order. They were helpful and did this. Evans, Wimbledon today. Oh we don’t sell that bike now .... oh the extra £53 on your order you paid ... we won’t even refund that ... contact Head Office .... best thing is to just cancel your certificate ....Speechless ....I’m actually close to tears with this as I wanted to cycle to work to lose weight on a new bike .... not my old one. If I get a new bike with this scheme it will not be with Evans .... probably stick with my old bike or even just use my car. The guy in the store really didn’t care and just said oh we have lots of problems like this. Guess I’m not spending enough money on a road bike hey .... love hearing your staff joking about how it’s not Halloween when a customer is being shafted. I don’t care .... I want my extra £53 back and a bike ....guess I will have to accept Evans Wimbledon have screwed me over .....if they are just seriously incompetent. Evans ..... absolutely useless .... wait 6 months for no bike and owed £53 ....If I could give no stars ....

I have been trying to get a refund from…

I have been trying to get a refund from Evans for an item I returned on 20/07/20. I did initially get a reply from the query I sent them via their website, but despite having sent the copy of proof of return as requested on 17/08/20 and emailing them 3 other times since, I have still not had any further response or refund from them. As mentioned by other reviewers the phone lines are not working and I am unable to find an address to send a letter of complaint to. Having been a loyal customer to Evans for over 30 years I am completely disgusted by this and their lack of response and am now looking into taking this further with the financial ombudsmen.

Never using them again

Ordered 4 items from them, first item delivered by Hermes and the courier pushed it through the letterbox even though my husband was home at the time. The bag had a top and coat hanger in it which should never have been delivered this way, it was shoved through the letterbox causing not only the bag to rip but the top inside was badly damaged!! Recieved the next 2 items separately by a different courier company who rang the door bell, never recieved the 4th item as it was out of stock, why was it on the website???? Sent a message to tell Evan's this on facebook and was asked for my tracking number and images have sent them all and heard nothing for 5 days, shocking service will be returning all items and never using them again.

Awful service, Non existant returns options

Arranged return of 2 packages via Hermes on 1st & 5th May. Hermes failed to collect, have tried to contact them on numerous occasions and have had 2 seperate email responses on 21st May & 27th July, which I replied to with no response. Have contacted on social media nothing. Utterly appalling service.

I cannot recommend this shop

I cannot recommend this shop. I don't want to give any stars. I returned 2 items by DHL 5 weeks ago and used their own return label. No refund and no return confirmation. I sent them an e-Mail with order information and shipment Tracking included. After 7 days I get an respond. And they asked me for order information and shipment proof... We played this game 3 times! Are they stupid and insane? I am so dissapointed and angry.

AVOID!!!

Send out shoddy clothes, unfit for purpose. Never reply on the customer service emails they now force you to use as their telephone service is no longer. I'm going to see if PayPal will help me. Huge waste of money!!EDIT: Evans have contacted me due to my review. I have sent them 6 emails through their own website in the last month, and two more through anither website called Resolver, and the only way they seem to listen is by reading their bad reviews on Trustpilot? Are you joking??? How about just answering ANY ONE of the other emails I've sent??
